Jamaican dancehall singer, songwriter, and rapper who rose to fame for his distinct sound and undeniable prowess within the genre. He became best known for songs including "Moca," "Mad Dawgs," and "Talibans," with the latter having helped him become the face of the Spotify Dancehall Official playlist in May of 2023.

Before Fame

He first ventured into the dancehall music scene when he was a teenager. After partnering with big names like Govana and Jada Kingdom, he released his career-making single "Talibans." After the track reached listeners, he was approached by music VIPs including 21 Savage and Burna Boy for collaboration.

His song "Talibans" reached the number eight spot on the Billboard Rap Airplay chart in October of 2023, being listed among songs by other iconic rappers like Young ThugDrake, and Cardi B. With this, he became the first Jamaican-born performer to enter the Rap Airplay Chart Top Ten in over 18 years, with the last candidate being Sean Paul, who reached number six with his song "We Be Burning" in 2005.

Family Life

His birth name is Dylan Byron. After being born in Jamaica, he was adopted when he was just two months old and taken to St. Lucia, where he was raised by his adoptive mother.
